Kristina Dohrn is a doctoral candidate in Social and Cultural Anthropology. Her research interests lie in the intersection of anthropology of religion (Islam in particular), transnationalism and anthropology of education. She has conducted research in Germany, Turkey and Tanzania and is currently working on her doctoral thesis about the educational activities of the Gülen Movement in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
