Dauda Abubakar came to study in Berlin from his home country of Nigeria where he lectures at the federal University of Jos, Nigeria. As a doctoral candidate in the field of cultural and social anthropology, he is conducting an ethnographic study of the practice of Zakat in northern Nigeria at the BGSMCS under the supervision of Prof. Dr. H. Dilger.
