On behalf of Prof. Dr. Dimitris Gutas and Prof. Dr. Beatrice Gründler, project leaders of the research project Aristotle's Poetics in the West (of India) from Antiquity to the Renaissance: A Multilingual Edition with Studies of the Cultural Contexts of the Syriac, Arabic, Hebrew, and Latin Translations, we would like to invite you to the first Close Reading Workshop of Aristotle’s Poetics this year.  We will read and compare all language versions with the new translations. A list and the texts will be circulated a week prior to the workshop.

Coffee and tea will be served.
