Amidst a growing number of refugees doctoral students at BGSMCS wanted to help. Having close contacts in the regions from which many people have to flee and knowing the languages of these regions, this issue is very present for them. Doctoral students try to facilitate the every-day live for refugess in Berlin, inter alia through the language proficiency represented at the BGSMCS (Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Turkish).
