Workshop, 9 February 2016, 2.00 - 5.30 PM
organised by: Kristina Dohrn
This workshop critically engages with anthropological ways of knowing, and the role of affect and emotion therein, in regard to the exploration of religiously oriented ideas, practices and configurations. Drawing on their own research experiences, participants will discuss questions of positionality, methodology, epistemology and representation when doing anthropologies and ethnographies of religion. The workshop will also foster exchange and mutual learning among senior and young scholars as well as beyond narrow disciplinary boundaries.
