This research project is supported by the Einstein Visiting Fellowship for Professor Mohammed Bamyeh and hosted by Professor Florian Zemmin at the Berlin Graduate School for Muslim Cultures and Societies.
Next to individual research projects, the project as a whole will create a comparative lexicon and a series of podcasts on 60 key concepts in the social sciences, focusing on how they were and are currently used in Arabic, English, and French.
We look forward to welcoming you, sharing our vision for this new project, and introducing you to the first year's set of concepts: Political Concepts. We welcome your contributions in suggesting concepts, as well as your reflections and contributions to defining the concepts.
