Zusammen mit Patrick Desplat organisierte Elisa Tullia Bertuzzo den Workshop "Prayer in the City" welcher am 26. und 27. Juni 2009 an der BGSMCS stattfand.

Der Workshop diente als Basis für den Band Prayer in the City: The Making of Muslim Sacred Places and Urban Life, welcher 2012 von Patrick Desplat und Dorothea Schulz im transcript Verlag, Bielefeld, herausgegeben wurde.
